Climate-neutral new builds with system hemp blocks.
Hemplith® Modular consists of hempcrete blocks laid dry — without mortar or adhesive — using a tongue-and-groove system. The blocks also act as formwork and insulation for a load-bearing reinforced concrete skeleton cast into the designated recesses.
The 2-in-1 solution combines wall construction and insulation in a single step: high thermal inertia, moisture regulation and CO₂ storage thanks to plant-based aggregates.
The interlocking system makes construction fast: around 30 m² of wall per day with two skilled workers — structure included. Compatible with standard windows and roller shutters; electrical conduits are easy to rout in.
Ideal for serial and modular construction: standardised grids, repeatable details, short construction times — for standardised house types, terraced housing and entire districts with ESG, QNG or DGNB targets.
Four block types, one grid.

Properties of Hemplith Modular
Where Hemplith Modular is used
Dry-stack, then pour the core.
The blocks are laid dry using the tongue-and-groove system — without mortar or adhesive. The hemp blocks are non-load-bearing; loads are carried by the reinforced concrete core in the recesses.
Infill concrete: at least C25/30, consistency S4 (flowable), max. aggregate size 10 mm. Pour in lifts of max. 2.15 m — important: without vibration, to avoid damaging the blocks.
Interior finishes: clay or lime plaster. Exterior: lime-based renders (with mesh), timber cladding or clinker brick. Store blocks dry on pallets and protect from rain.
