Exposed acoustics made of hemp.
Silentlith® acoustic pro is an exposed acoustic panel of hemp shives and a cement-free mineral binder — for interior wall and ceiling surfaces.
The porous structure absorbs sound and reduces reverberation — ideal for offices, schools, hospitality, hotels, living spaces and studios.
As a natural material, Silentlith combines good acoustics with good fire behaviour and a pleasant indoor climate.
Properties of Silentlith
Where Silentlith is used
Mount exposed — directly or with an air gap.
Fix with screws and washers or a concealed mounting system on a timber or metal sub-frame (max. 40 cm centre spacing); direct mounting on a load-bearing, level substrate is possible.
An air gap or an absorbent backing improves performance in the low-frequency range — plan the desired reverberation time acoustically.
Install only after moisture-intensive building work; store panels dry, clean and lying flat.
