The board for wet rooms.
Hemplith® Aquaboard is a vapour-open, moisture-resistant interior board of hemp and minerals — specially for wet rooms such as bathrooms.
It combines moisture management, thermal insulation and fire protection in one natural, ecological board.
In zones exposed to direct water, such as the shower, a standard-compliant bonded waterproofing is additionally applied.
Properties of the Aquaboard
Where the Aquaboard is used
Install dry, waterproof in the wet area.
Substrate and boards must be dry — do not install Aquaboard when damp.
Mount on a drywall sub-frame with max. 60 cm stud spacing on walls or 40 cm on ceilings/slopes; 9 fixing points per board on the wall, 12 with washers on ceiling/slope.
Execute zones with direct water exposure (shower) with standard-compliant bonded waterproofing and approved system components.
