HP 9SL is used as an insulating plaster for exterior and interior applications and adheres to a wide variety of substrates such as masonry, rough concrete, pumice concrete and loose concrete. It contains lightweight expanded glass aggregate and a small amount of white cement for increased strength, making it ideal for exterior applications.
Another advantage of the HP 9SL is its efficiency: one bag delivers 32 liters of fresh mortar. The structure of the expanded glass remains intact even after mechanical processing, which means that both the insulating effect and the volume are retained. This insulating plaster can be applied directly as a final layer without the need for additional steps such as the application of adhesive mortar and fabric.
The surface of the plaster can be rubbed or finely sponged after application, and direct painting with swamp lime paint creates a particularly robust surface.
The heat reflection of the HP 9SL is also remarkable. The warmth of the human body is reflected when touched, which can be felt even without direct contact.
All standard plastering machines that are suitable for insulating plaster can be used to apply HP 9SL. The recommended plaster thickness per coat is 30 mm. Once the first coat has dried, the next can be applied immediately.
